Chicago based photographer Brian Metz chooses charity over money.

Brian Metz has always had a passion for photographer. "My father taught me use your instinct and eye to capture raw and real moments". From a young age Brian has been captivated with sites coast to coast such as the Arizona deserts and beautiful skylines of downtown Chicago. He had the ability to shoot in raw and see beyond the lens an into the beauty of his natural surroundings. While his career has taken him into he financial field he has always maintained that desire to do good with his natural talent. Metz has teamed up with several local charities to donate his passion for theirs. "Metz has stole our hearts with his generosity and kind heart". When Joes girlfriend was diagnosed with Cancer Metz offered to do a photo shoot capturing the treasured special moments the two had together.

Brian Metz Chicago

I believe in the integrity of a photo, searching for the imagination and unique aspect of each image. Since my earliest memories of taking photos with my Dad I have constantly been inspired by the art of photography, pursuing new and innovative ways to create a photo that tells a story beyond the frames reference point.
My experience is multi faceted, and I am fortunate enough to be able to call photography my passion. Name dropping and credit really isn't my thing, but if you would like references I am more then happy to provide them. I have shot editorial, fashion, style, landscape, cityscape, urban, private equity, sport, and other select projects. Each opportunity connects me more and more to the art, which is why I am selective in what type of projects I take on. To me, its not about hustling a dollar out of each shot, its about romancing the moment out of every image.
